  • The Everest Base Camp Trek is understandably one of the world's most popular and spectacular hiking destinations in Nepal. It offers fascinating and enjoyable trekking experience to the trekkers. Mt. Everest, the highest mountain of the world, was first scaled by Tenzing Sherpa and Edmund Hillary in 1953. Then it has become the famous trekking destination for tourist in the world. Everest region is famous for the spectacular view of the mountains as well as the friendliness and loyalty of its inhabitants, Sherpa who are also famous for mountaineering. Everest base camp trek provides trekkers the opportunity to enjoy incredible natural beauty of Nepal, panoramic view of the surrounding Himalaya Giants like Mt. Everest (8848m), Lhotse, Makalu, Amadablam and many more. This trekking allows you chance to be familiar with the culture, religion, and lifestyle of the Himalayan people, Sherpa.     Everest Base Camp Trekking trip begins with a scenic flight to Lukla from Kathmandu. From Lukla we start our trekking to the base camp of the world highest mountain Mt Everest following the Dudh Koshi River valley. We pass the through the green terraced villages, rushing rivers, suspension bridges, lush forests with beautiful views of the world's highest snowcapped peaks. In this trek you pass through the famous places like Phakding, Namche, Syangboche, Tengboche etc. where you can get firsthand experience of their culture and life. The highest point of our trip is at Kala Pattar, where we get an outstanding panoramic view of peaks and its glaciers, including Mount Everest. The major highlights of this trekking are world heritage Sagarmatha National Park, Kala Pattar, Gokyo valley, Dudhkoshi valley etc. In Sagarmatha National Park, you may see the rare wild animals and birds like snow leopard, red panda, Danfe as well as rare explore various flora and fauna. The best time to go for the Everest base camp trek is from mid-March to May and September to Mid-December.

    Day 10: Trek to Everest Base Camp (5365 meters) then back to Gorak Shep (5180m.). 8 hours.
    Day 11: Hike up to Kala pattar (5545m.) early in the morning and trek down to Pheriche (4120m.). 7 hours.
    Day 12: Trek to Tengboche (3860m.) 4 hours.
    Day 13: Trek to Namche (3440 meters) 4 hrs.
    Day 14: Trek to Lukla (2840m.) 7 hours.
    Day 15: Morning flight back to Kathmandu. 30 minutes.
    Day 16: Leisure day in Kathmandu.

    At last if the itinerary will be not suitable for you please do let us know and will make a tailor-made on it. The itinerary will be very flexible from our side if clients want to change will be possible.

  • Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
    You arrive in Kathmandu and you meet our representative in the airport who will take you to your hotel in the heart of Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel.

    Day 02: Kathmandu City Tour
    After having breakfast you go for sightseeing around Kathmandu valley with our guide. You will visit many Buddhist and Hindu temples like Boudhanath, Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath, which reflect the local culture and tradition of Nepalese society. You also visit Kathmandu Durbar square and Patan durbar square. In the evening you will return to the Hotel.

    Day 03: Flight to Lukla from Kathmandu. Trek to Phakding (2700m.)
    In the morning you have a scenic flight of 30 - 35 minutes to Lukla (2800m.) from Kathmandu. The trail from Lukla leads you to Chablung (2700m.) and it descends steeply to the Tharo Koshi which is also known as Kusum Kangru Khola (river). Beyond the Tharo Koshi Bridge, the trail climbs to Ghat (2590m.) and again climbs to Phakding. In Phakding you can climb to the gompa to see your first view of the high peaks. Now you will really feeling like you have arrived in the Himalayan Kingdom. Stay at Guest house- Lunch, Dinner and Breakfast. O/N at Phadking.

    Day 04: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m.)
    From Phakding the trail follows the Dudh Koshi River and reaches Zamphuti. From here you can see excellent views of Thamserku peak. Then the trail climbs to Chomoa, the site of an agricultural project, an interesting place to have a look around and gain an insight into the farming way of life of these people. From Chomoa, the trail again climbs to Monjo (2840m.) and enters the Sagarmatha (Everest) National Park (1148sq km, established in 1976). Walking some distance uphill you will be at Jorsale (2830m.) and after a long climb with views of Mt. Everest peeking over the ridge of Nuptse (7879m.) the trail reaches the street of Namche Bazaar. Stay at Guest house- Lunch, Dinner and Breakfast. O/N at Namche Bazaar (3420m.).

    Day 05: Acclimatization in Namche (3440m.)
    After having breakfast you take some sightseeing around Namche Bazaar. Then you can hike to the Everest View Hotel, the ideal place to overview some of the outstanding mountains such as Mt. Everest, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Lhotse etc. You can walk around the Khumjung valley, Hillary School and Khunde Hospital and then return back to Namche. In the center of Namche you can visit the mountaineering museum and visit the Sagarmatha Pollution Control Committee (SPCC). In Namche Bazaar you can spend some time interacting with the fun-loving Sherpa and Rai people. In Namche above the police check post you will see Sagarmatha National Park headquarters and if you want to look at the visitor centre it is open from 8 am to 4 pm except Saturdays and holidays. Stay at Guest house- Lunch, Dinner and Breakfast. O/N at Namche.

    Day 06: Trek to Tengboche Monastery (3860m.) 5 hours. The trek continues along the rushing glacial waters of the Dudh Koshi with magnificent views of the mountains. We trek to an altitude of 3860 meters today. On reaching Tengboche you will see the local monastery. Inside the monastery are incredibly ornate wall hangings, a 20-foot sculpture of Buddha, and the musical instruments and robes of the Lamas. The group will be taken to observe a prayer ceremony either in the evening or morning depending on how the days trekking went. Overnight at guesthouse.

    Day 07: Trek to Dingboche (4350m.) 5.30 hours.
    From Tengboche the trail drops to Debuche, crosses another exciting suspension bridge on the Imja Khola, and climbs to Pangboche amongst thousands of Mani stones. Our uphill trek continues, taking us to the quaint traditional Sherpa village of Dingboche with its exquisite views of Lhotse, Island Peak, and Ama Dablam. We take our time so we avoid getting affected by the altitude. Overnight at Guesthouse.

    Day 08: Trek to Chhukung (4710m.) and trek back to Dingboche. 4.30 hours.
    Today you can enjoy another day for acclimatization. We will have trip to Chhukung valley via the Imja Khola valley to get a marvelous view of the surrounding mountains, especially Lhotse’s massive south wall, then return to Dingboche in the evening. Overnight at Guesthouse.

    Day 09: Trek to Lobuche (4910m.) 5 hours.
    Today, the trail continues along the lateral moraine of the Khumbu Glacier and passes by stone memorials for climbers who have perished on nearby summits. We continue to climb as we are heading to the altitude of 4910 meters at Lobuche which is really just a few huts at the foot of giant Lobuche peak. Some breathing problems may arise today due to the altitude. Overnight at Guesthouse.

    Day 10: Trek to Everest Base Camp (5365 meters) then back to Gorak Shep (5180m.). 8 hours.
    This is another big and difficult day walk along the Khumbu Glacier and up to Everest Base Camp at 5365meters, the closest you can get to Mt. Everest without mountaineering equipment. There will likely be a team there about to attempt the summit. The view of the Khumbu Icefall from Base Camp is spectacular. We return back to Gorak shep for the night. Overnight at Guesthouse.

    Day 11: Hike up to Kala pattar (5545m.) early in the morning and trek down to Pheriche (4120m.). 7 hours.
    This will be one of the most difficult yet rewarding days of the trek. Most of morning in this day is spent climbing Mt. Kala Pattar, a small peak (by Himalayan standards) at 5555 meters. The ascent is demanding but the climber gets the most magnificent mountain panorama: Everest, the highest point on the planet at 29028ft, 8848 meters, towers directly ahead and on all sides loom the other giants, Nuptse, Pumori, Chagatse, Lhotse and countless others. We make a quick descent to Gorak Shep, a tiny hamlet at 5180 meters then trek down to Pheriche. Overnight at Guesthouse.

    Day 12: Trek to Tengboche (3860m.) 4 hours.
    Trek back to Tengboche via Pangboche. Overnight at Guesthouse.

    Day 13: Trek to Namche (3440 meters) 4 hrs.
    A steep descent to the Dudh Koshi and climb up to Namche Bazaar. Overnight at Guesthouse.

    Day 14: Trek to Lukla (2840m.) 7 hours.
    Finally we return to Lukla where the trek began, which will seem like a lifetime ago. Enjoying time to reflect on the trek as a group and the personal achievement of all those who took part. Also giving you time to explore the town. Overnight at Guesthouse.

    Day 15: Morning flight back to Kathmandu. 30 minutes.
    Enjoying your last glimpse of the mountains you have recently visited for one last time on the 35 minute Scenic flight back to Kathmandu. On arrival in Kathmandu we are met and transferred back to our starting hotel. Overnight at hotel.

    Day 16: Leisure day in Kathmandu.
    It's also spare day in case of bad weather in Lukla.

    Day 17: departure.
    The trip ends, our Airport Representative will drop you to the Kathmandu International Airport for your flight departure from Nepal.
