Kwangde Ri Peak is situated just above the Bhotekoshi River, southeast of Namche Bazaar in the Everest region. This mountain is bordered with the Rolwaling himal and makes an impressive multi- summited ridge on the eastern end of the Lumding Himal which is a part of the Rolwaling Himal. It lies at the northern end of the hidden and remote valley of Lumding Drangka. In the Kwangde peak there are four peaks above 6000m. Kwangde peak climbing is challenging as it has the steep ridge in the northern side and southern side is glaciated and unapproachable. Though there are different route to scale the peak, all of them are difficult. Kwangde peak climbing and trekking takes you in to the untouched and hidden area of Everest region which offers the beautiful views of the remote Lumding Drangka valley which inhibit the tumbling glaciers of Karyolung, Khartang and Numbur.

The adventurous journey to the Kwangde Ri Peak starts from Lukla after the 30 minutes flight from Kathmandu. The trekking from Lukla to the Kwangde Ri peak provides very exciting experience to the climbers. On the way they enjoy the beautiful scene of the landscapes, waterfalls, river valleys, beautiful forest with blooming rhododendron flower. On the way they can visit Sherpa villages and beautiful monasteries. They can explore the culture and lifestyle of the Sherpa people in the villages. They can also encounter various flora and fauna and wildlife like snow leopard, red panda, danfee etc. The surrounding view of from the summit is very exciting to the climbers. They can observe the excellent view of the mountains like Rolwaling, Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Cho Oyo, Ama Dablam and many more which gives the life time memory. The best seasons to go for Kwangde Ri Peak climbing are spring and autumn.

After you arrive in Tribhuvan international airport in Kathmandu you meet our representative. They transfer you to your hotel. Overnight at hotel. 

    This day you will go for sightseeing in the Kathmandu valley. In the morning after having breakfast you go visit Buddhist and Hindu temples Boudhanath, Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath, which reflect the local culture and tradition of Nepalese society. Then in the afternoon you visit Kathmandu Durbar square and Patan durbar square. In the evening you will return to the Hotel.

      In the morning you have a scenic flight of 30 - 35 minutes to Lukla (2800m.) from Kathmandu. During the flight you can see the snowcapped mountains and greenery field below. From Lukla we start our walk and head to Phakding passing through the forest and following Dudh Koshi River. In Phakding you can climb to the Gompa to see your first view of the high peaks. O/N at Phakding. 

        From Phakding the trail follows the Dudh Koshi River and reaches Zamphuti. From there we can see excellent views of Thamserku peak. Then the trail climbs to Chomoa, the site of an agricultural project, an interesting place to have a look around and gain an insight into the farming way of life of these people. From Chomoa, the trail again climbs to Monjo (2840m.) and enters the Sagarmatha (Everest) National Park (1148sq km, established in 1976). Walking some distance uphill you will be at Jorsale (2830m.) and after a long climb with views of Mt. Everest peeking over the ridge of Nuptse (7879m.) the trail reaches the street of Namche Bazaar. Stay at Guest house- Lunch, Dinner and Breakfast. O/N at Namche Bazaar. 

          today we take rest for the proper acclimatization with some excursion. We can hike to the Everest View Hotel, the ideal place to overview some of the outstanding mountains such as Mt. Everest, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Lhotse etc. You can walk around the Khumjung valley, Hillery School and Khunde Hospital and then return back to Namche. In Namche Bazaar you can spend some time interacting with the fun-loving Sherpa and Rai people. 

            From Namche we walk up to the Thamo passing through the forest and terraced farm. In Thamo we can visit the Khari Gompa where we find Nuns and monks. From there we ascend to the Thame village sprawling village. From the village we can see the stunning views of the mountains like Thamserku, Kantenga, Kusum Kangguru etc. 

                        Today, we begin our walking on the flat trail and then descend to Thamo. In Thamo you can visit the Khari Gompa where you find Nuns and monks. Then we head to Namche bazaar. Overnight at Namche Bazaar.

                          Finally we return to Lukla where the trek began, which will seem like a lifetime ago. Enjoying time to reflect on the trek as a group and the personal achievement of all those who took part. Also giving you time to explore the town. Overnight at guesthouse.

                            Enjoying your last glimpse of the mountains you have recently visited for one last time on the 35 minute Scenic flight back to Kathmandu. On arrival in Kathmandu we are met and transferred back to our starting hotel. Overnight at hotel.

                              It's also spare day in case of bad weather in Lukla.

                                The trip ends, our Airport Representative will drop you to the Kathmandu International Airport for your flight departure from Nepal.
