Everest Chola, Gokyo, Renjo La Pass Trek is most adventurous trek in the Everest region. It is the circuit trek which combines the Gokyo, Chola Pass and Renjo La pass with the Everest base camp Trek. In this trek you can enjoy the amazing view of many Himalayan giants like Mt. Everest (8848m.), Lhotse, Makalu, Amadablam, Kanchenjunga, Nuptse, Mt. Pumori and many more as well as explore the beautiful Gokyo valley which hosts sacred lakes. The rich culture of the Sherpa people, excellent views of the glaciers like Ngozumpa Glacier- the largest in Nepal's Himalayas, beautiful forest with various flora and fauna and wildlife of this trekking trail provides the awesome experience to the visitors. During this trekking trip you cross the two high passes Chola and Renjo La pass which offers the fantastic view of the surrounding high peaks, remote valleys and beautiful view of glaciers. You can also get insight into the culture and lifestyle of the Sherpa people who are famous for mountaineering enjoying their friendly behavior.
Everest Gokyo Trek with two high passes begins with a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, which is the junction for the Everest region trekking. From Lukla you start our trekking following the Dudh Koshi River valley and pass through the rhododendron and pine forest, Dudh Koshi valley, Sagarmatha national park, waterfalls, beautiful Sherpa villages enjoying the scenery and view of the mountain. Sagarmatha national park is the UNESCO listed heritage site where you can find various flora and fauna and wild life like snow leopard, red panda, Himalayan thar etc. In this trek you pass through the Chola Pass and the Renjo la pass respectively returning from the upper route from Everest base camp. The best time to go for the Everest Chola, Gokyo, Renjo La Pass Trek is from mid-March to May and September to Mid-December.

Day 01Arrival in Kathmandu You arrive in Kathmandu and you meet our representative in the airport who will take you to your hotel in the heart of Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02Kathmandu City Tour Today you visit different historical and cultural sites of the Kathmandu valley with our guide. In the morning after having breakfast you go visit Buddhist and Hindu temples Boudhanath, Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath, which reflect the local culture and tradition of Nepalese society. Then in the afternoon you visit Kathmandu Durbar square and Patan durbar square. In the evening you will return to the Hotel.
Day 03Katmandu to Lukla - Trek to Phakding (2700m.) In the morning you have a scenic flight of 30 - 35 minutes to Lukla (2800m.) from Kathmandu. During the flight you can see the snowcapped mountains and greenery field below. From Lukla we start our walk and head to Phakding passing through the forest and following Dudh Koshi River. In Phakding you can climb to the gompa to see your first view of the high peaks. O/N at Lodge.
Day 04Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440 meters) From Phakding the trail follows the Dudh Koshi River and reaches Zamphuti. From there we can see excellent views of Thamserku peak. Then the trail climbs to Chomoa, the site of an agricultural project, an interesting place to have a look around and gain an insight into the farming way of life of these people. From Chomoa, the trail again climbs to Monjo (2840m.) and enters the Sagarmatha (Everest) National Park (1148sq km, established in 1976). Walking some distance uphill you will be at Jorsale (2830m.) and after a long climb with views of Mt. Everest peeking over the ridge of Nuptse (7879m.) the trail reaches the street of Namche Bazaar. Overnight at lodge.
Day 05Acclimatization in Namche (3440m.) today we take rest for the proper acclimatization with some excursion. We can hike to the Everest View Hotel, the ideal place to overview some of the outstanding mountains such as Mt. Everest, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Lhotse etc. You can walk around the Khumjung valley, Hillary School and Khunde Hospital and then return back to Namche. In Namche Bazaar you can spend some time interacting with the fun-loving Sherpa and Rai people.
Day 06Namche to Tengboche (3860m.) From Namche bazaar we walk along the ridge for some time and then descend to Dudh Koshi River at Phunkithanka. Then after crossing the bridge we ascend in the steep path up to the Tengboche. On reaching Tengboche you will see the local monastery. Tengboche have largest Monastery of Khumbu region.
Day 07Tengboche to Dingboche (4350m.) From Tengboche we descend down to Debuche, cross another exciting suspension bridge on the Imja Khola, and climbs to Pangboche amongst thousands of Mani stones. Our uphill trek continues, taking us to the quaint traditional Sherpa village of Dingboche with its exquisite views of Lhotse, Island Peak, and Ama Dablam.
Day 08Acclimatization day with excursion Today you can enjoy another day for acclimatization. We will have trip to Chhukung valley via the Imja Khola valley to get a marvelous view of the surrounding mountains, especially Lhotse’s massive south wall, then return to Dingboche in the evening.
Day 09Dingboche to Lobuche (4910m.) Today, we walk along the lateral moraine of the Khumbu Glacier. We continue to climb as we are heading to the altitude of 4910 meters at Lobuche which is really just a few huts at the foot of giant Lobuche peak. Some breathing problems may arise today due to the altitude.
Day 10Trek to Everest Base Camp (5365 m.) then back to Gorak Shep (5180m.) This day also we walk along the Khumbu Glacier up to Everest Base Camp at 5365m. The view of the Khumbu Icefall from Base Camp is spectacular. Then we return back to Gorak shep for the night.
Day 11Hike to Kala pattar (5545m.) and trek to Dzongla This will be one of the most difficult yet rewarding days of the trek. In the morning we climb Mt. Kala Pattar, a small peak. From Kala Pattar we can see the unparalleled mountain panorama of Everest, the highest point on the planet at 8848 meters, towers directly ahead and other giants, Nuptse, Pumori, Chagatse, Lhotse and countless others. Then we walk to Dzongla.
Day 12Cross Chola Pass and Trek to Thangnag (4800m.) This day we cross Chola pass. We have to walk in the steep path over rock boulders. The the climbing is difficult, the views of the route ahead, and of the glacier itself, are breathtaking. From the pass we can see the stunning view of the surrounding mountains. Then we descend down in another side of the pass and trek to Thangnag for overnight stay.
Day 13Tangnag to Gokyo We walk along the glacier route until we reach first Lake of Gokyo. The trek is easier over flat path following Dudh Koshi River up to Gokyo. It is a windy valley and situated near the third lake. At Gokyo you are stunned by the natural beauty of Dudh Pokhari Lake.
Day 14Rest day at Gokyo This day we take rest and explore the Gokyo valley. Gokyo is a trade center where the Sherpa people run lodges to provide the best services to the trekkers. Gokyo is situated by the side of Ngozumba glacier, the biggest glacier of Nepal.
Day 15Cross Renjo La Pass (5400m.) Lunde This day early in the morning we cross the Renjo La pass. From the pass, we can see the views of Everest, Lhotse and surrounding mountains. We also see the beautiful scenery of the Gokyo Lake and Gokyo village below the Ngozumba glacier. From the pass we descend down on a stone staircase to Lunde where we stay overnight.
Day 16Lunde to Thame This day we trek down to Thame, a sprawling village. From Thame we can see the stunning views of the mountains like Thamserku, Kantenga, Kusum Kangguru etc. here you can explore the village and visit monastery established around 300 years ago.
Day 17Thame to Namche Today, we begin our walking in the flat trail and then descending to Thamo. In Thamo you can visit the Khari Gompa where you find Nuns and Monks. Then we head to Namche bazaar. Overnight at Namche Bazaar.
Day 18Namche to Lukla (2840 m.) Finally we return to Lukla where the trek began, which will seem like a lifetime ago. Enjoying time to reflect on the trek as a group and the personal achievement of all those who took part. Also giving you time to explore the town. Overnight at guesthouse.
Day 19Flight to Kathmandu Enjoying your last glimpse of the mountains you have recently visited for one last time on the 35 minute Scenic flight back to Kathmandu. On arrival in Kathmandu we are met and transferred back to our starting hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 20Leisure day in Kathmandu. It's also spare day in case of bad weather in Lukla.
Day 21Departure. The trip ends, our Airport Representative will drop you to the Kathmandu International Airport for your flight departure from Nepal.
