Day 01Arrival in Kathmandu(1,400m)After arrival at Kathmandu Valley, our representative/crew member will pick you up from the airport. And, take you to your hotel at Thamel, the central point of tourists in Kathmandu. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 02Sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley Today is the day for Kathmandu City Tour which is a 1-day sightseeing tour around Kathmandu valley. That takes you to different historical and cultural sites of the Kathmandu valley with our guide. After having early morning breakfast we start the Kathmandu tour to sacred Buddhist and Hindu temples Boudhanath, Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath, which reflect the local culture and tradition of Nepalese society. Then. We visit Kathmandu Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square. All these sites are enlisted UNESCO World heritage sites. Tour ends In the evening and our crew member will drop you to your Hotel.
Day 03Scenic Flight from Kathmandu to Lukla(2,860m) and trek to Phakding (2,610m) - 3 hours. We take an early morning scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla which takes 30 - 35 minutes to reach. During the flight, you can see the snow capped mountains and greenery hills and forests, rivers, villages and more. From Lukla, we start our hike to Phakding passing through the forest and crossing Dudh Koshi River over suspension bridges. In Phakding you can climb to the Gompa to see your first glimpse of the high peaks. Overnight at Phakding.
Day 04Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m) - 5 to 6 hours. From Phakding the trail follows the Dudh Koshi River and reaches Zampatti which offers an excellent view of Thamserku peak. Then the trail climbs to Chomoa, the site of an agricultural project, an interesting place to have a look around and gain an insight into the farming way of life of these people. From Chomoa, the trail again climbs to Monjo (2840m.) and enters the Sagarmatha National Park also called Everest National Park ( a UNESCO World Heritage Site).
Walking some steep path, you reach Jorsale (2830m.) and after a long climb, you see views of Mt. Everest peeking over the ridge of Nuptse (7879m). Finally, the trail reaches the street of Namche Bazaar. Stay at Guesthouse for Lunch, Dinner, and Breakfast. Night stay at Namche Bazaar.
Day 05Acclimatization in Namche (3,440m.) The fifth day at Namche is a rest day for the proper acclimatization with some excursion. We can hike to the Everest View Hotel, the ideal place to overview some of the remarkable mountains peaks views such as Mt. Everest, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Lhotse, etc. You can walk around the Khumjung valley, Hillary School and Khunde Hospital and then back to Namche. In Namche Bazaar, you can spend some time interacting with the fun-loving and very welcoming Sherpa and Rai people.
Day 06Namche to Tengboche (3,860m) - 5 to 6 hours. This day we leave Namche bazaar, walk for some time along the ridge, and then descend to Dudh Koshi River at Phunkithanka. Then after crossing the bridge, we ascend in the steep path up to the Tengboche. On reaching Tengboche you will see the ancient monastery which is the largest monastery of this region. Overnight at Tengboche Guesthouse.
Day 07Trek From Tengboche to Dingboche (4,350m) - 5 to 6 hours. From Tengboche, the trail drops to Debuche crosses another exciting suspension bridge on the Imja Khola and climbs to Pangboche amongst thousands of Mani stones. Our uphill trek continues, taking us to the quaint traditional Sherpa village of Dingboche with its exquisite views of Lhotse, Island Peak, and Ama Dablam. We take slow and easy steps to avoid altitude sickness. Overnight at Dingboche Guesthouse.
Day 08Trek from Dingboche to Chhukung (4,700m) - 6 to 7 hours Today is another day for acclimatization with only two hours of walk. We will have a short trip to Chhukung valley via the Imja Khola valley. We get a marvelous view of the surrounding mountains, especially Lhotse’s massive south wall.
Day 09Chukkung to Kongma La Pass (5,536m) and Lobuche (4,940m) - 6 to 7 hours. This day is difficult as we cross the Kongma La pass. At first, we walk in the plain area of the valley and then ascend the steep path to the Kongma La pass amid the crags of this outlying ridge from nearby Nuptse. From the pass, we descend steeply to the Khumbu Glacier (the highest glacier in Nepal). We cross the glacier and head to Lobuche.
Day 10Lobuche to Dzongla (4,830m) - 3 to 4 hours. This day we trek to Zongla toward the Cho La pass. We ascend gently on the flank of the Lobuche and descend slowly to the foot of the Cho La pass where we set up camp and stay overnight.
Day 11Dzongla to Cho La Pass (5,420m) and Thangnag (4,356m) . This day we cross another high pass, Cho La Pass. We have to walk in the steep path over rock boulders that makes climbing very difficult. But, the views of glaciers are breathtaking. Cho La Pass offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Then, descended down on another side of the pass and trek to Thangnag for overnight stay.
Day 12Trek From Tangnag to Gokyo (4,800m). We walk along the glacier route until we reach Gokyo. The trek is easier over flat path following the Dudh Koshi River up to Gokyo. It is a windy valley and situated near the Gokyo lake. Get stunned by the immense natural beauty of Dudh Pokhari Lake and Gokyo Lake.
Day 13Acclimatization at Gokyo. We take a resting break at Gokyo and explore the Gokyo valley. Gokyo is a trade center where the Sherpa people run lodges to provide the best services to the trekkers. Beautiful Gokyo village resides by the side of Ngozumpa glacier, the biggest glacier of Nepal.
Day 14Cross Renjo La Pass (5,435m) to Lunde (4,380m). Early morning we cross the Renjo La pass. From the pass, we can see the views of Everest, Lhotse, and surrounding mountains. Along with the beautiful scenery of the Gokyo Lake and Gokyo village below the Ngozumpa glacier. Then, descended down on a stone staircase to Lunde where we stay overnight.
Day 15Lunde to Thame (3,800m). On this day we trek down to Thame, a sprawling village. The village of Thame offers stunning views of the mountains like Thamserku, Kantenga, Kusum Kangguru, etc. here you can explore the village and visit the monastery established around 300 years ago.
Day 16Thame to Namche Today, we begin our walking in the flat trail and then descending to Thamo. In Thamo you can visit the Khari Gompa where you find Nuns and Monks. Then we head to Namche Bazaar. And, overnight there.
Day 17Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2,840m). Finally, we return to Lukla where the trek began, which will seem like a lifetime ago. Enjoy the wonderful views of mountain peaks and its nearby surroundings along with exploration around the Lukla. Overnight at guesthouse.
Day 18Flight back to Kathmandu and Transfer to hotel. Enjoying your last glimpse of the mountains, recently visited for one last time on the 35-minute Scenic flight back to Kathmandu. On arrival in Kathmandu, you dropped back to your hotel for overnight.
Day 19Final Depature. The trip ends, our Representative will drop you to the Kathmandu International Airport for your flight departure from Nepal. And wishing you a safe flight back home.
