Everest Base Camp Trek Flights in November

Trek to Everest Base Camp begins from a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. But, due to the maintenance and reconstruction process going on, Kathmandu to Lukla flight is closed and diverted to Ramechhap Airport (Manthali Airport).  It takes 4 hours drive from Kathmandu to Ramechhap so you have to leave early in the dark to catch Ramechhap to Lukla flight. Lukla Airport is also known as Tenzing Norgay Airport is the gateway for most of the Everest Region Trek. 

The flight duration to Lukla from Kathmandu is 25 minutes whereas Ramechhap to Lukla flight takes 30 minutes to reach. 

Since November is the peak season, the flight to Lukla must be pre-booked as there will be a shortage of flight tickets.
