1.  Everest Base Camp Trek in Spring Season (Early March to Late May)

Being a peak season of the year it is considered the best season for traveling and it is overcrowded compared to other seasons.

Because of sunny days, the weather is warmer and dry making the views and scenery more clear and sharp.

Occasional snowfall occurs which makes the night a bit cold but hiking in days is warmer.

During this period the entire Everest Region is blossoms with seasonal flowers including Nepal's national flower “ Rhododendron or laliguras”.And crossing the UNESCO World Heritage “ Sagarmatha National Park” this season offers a view of endangered animals, birds, vegetation, and more. Whole forest lights up with red rhododendron which is only possible in the spring season.

Spring season offers panoramic view of high peaks like Mt. Everest (8848 m), Mt. Cho oyu (8201 m), Mt Makalu (8481 m), Mt. Ama Dablam (6812 m) and more.

2. Everest Base Camp Trek in Winter Season (November to January)

Winter season starts from November to January, which is the coldest season of Nepal. The weather is quite dry; days are mild cold but nights are extreme cold where temperature goes below -20 C.

Trekkers that can bear coldness can hike in this season with well-equip materials which includes warmer clothes, thermal jackets, thick socks, gloves, first aid and more.

Hiking in this season is less crowded which gives the true adventure experiences.

3. Everest Base Camp Trek in Autumn Season (Late August to Early November)

Along with spring season, Autumn season is also considered the best for EBC Trek. As for the climate, it is neither warmer at day nor not freezing cold night as winter season.

Due to favorable climate, it is crowded as spring season. The teashop, cafe, and hotel are filled with tourists and visitors.

4. Everest Base Camp Trek in Monsoon Season (June to Mid- August)

In Nepal, monsoon starts from June and ends at August. Also called wet season of the year.

It is the least traveling season as the rain cause mud, landslide risks, blurred views, diseases, leeches that disappoint trekkers from traveling.
