It was a thrilling helicopter ride to the Everest base camp. I also had a tasty breakfast at the Everest View Hotel.  Besides seeing Everest you can see the eye catching views of tall and majestic mountains such as Mt Lhotse and Mt Ama and Dhalam.

One can also see the ice falls and galciers surrounding the Everest base camp. I recommend going by helicopter as from it, you can see the awesome aerial view of the surrounding mountains of Mt Everest.

When I journeyed to the EBC Chola Pass Gokyo Trek, I had lots of expectations and hopes. I was not disappointed at trek as it is one of the memorable treks to be done in the lovely nation of Nepal.

I saw the majestic Mt Everest from the Gokyo Ri and feel lots of happiness and satisfaction when walking on to the Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar. I also enjoyed the electrifying rush when our plane landed at Lukla. If I had another chance , I will no doubt will be coming to this place again.

The trip by helicopter to Everest base camp was possibly one of the most amazing days we have ever had, and we have traveled a lot. We were picked up early in the morning at our hotel and taken to Kathmandu airport (domestic Airport to get our helicopter to Lukla. The famous Tenzing Hillary Airport!!

We then continued on up to Dingboche at 4400 M. Here we got one more shuttle, the other two passengers while we continued higher to 5545 M with Everest in front of us at Kala Patthar. It was amazing but very cold and we felt quite dizzy. We walked around and looked around, then we took photos, and then returned to Dingboche, where we were left on our own for about 25 minutes while the helicopter took the other two people back to Kala patther viewpoint. When the helicopter came back, we went to the Everest View Hotel for breakfast and more views, then flew back to Lukla to refuel and then back to Kathmandu. Altogether the trip lasted about 4 hours, anyway the company is highly recommended.

My son and I were ready for the helicopter tour, excitedly gearing up as if the anticipation was not enough. As the sun began to rise, we climbed the helicopter and was seated in there, and I knew that whatever we were about to face was something beautiful, something special. The manager (Bishnu) of the tour greeted us with a warm smile, his enthusiasm almost contagious. Our pilot was an experienced and friendly man, and his genuine care for our safety made me feel better. We took off into the sky, and as the landscape started to shift from the mountain foothills to the highest peaks, I could not help but feel a sense of awe. The view was simply breathtaking. From the air, it seemed that we were enveloped in a cloak of white, the snow-capped peaks and shimmering glaciers creating a blanket of clouds around us. It was like entering a fantasy world, and it took my breath away. We landed at the Everest View Hotel, and were welcomed by the friendly staff, who couldn't have been more hospitable. We explored the view from the hotel, and I couldn't help but feel grateful for the moment we were in, and for the chance to take in the beauty of the Himalayas. This was a moment that will stay with me forever. Hands down to this company.
